I was worried that this month I wouldn't see vast improvements in my metrics. I had gone over my self-prescribed 40 net carbs on a number of days. As I stepped on the scale (now that we have one) periodically throughout the month, I was disappointed to see how little weight I seemed to be losing.
Still, it wasn't all bad.
My highlights for August:
- I lost 2½" from my waist and another 2½" from my hips
- I did end up losing a total of 9 lbs over the course of the month
- My body fat percentage went down 4%
- My BMI dropped 1 point
