2 medium apples (12 oz)
Oil for deep frying
½ t cinnamon
- Heat oil in a deep pan or electric fryer to 400°F.
- While oil is heating, core apples and slice thinly, less than ⅛-in thick.
- Deep fry carrot strips in small batches for 4-6 minutes or until deep golden brown and the edges are crispy, turning once.
- Remove to paper towels and sprinkle with cinnamon. Chips crisp as they cool.
